                                         Annual Meeting Notification & Newsletter

                                                                    April 2025

Dear Owners, Evergreen had a good winter and our snow mobile people finally got the snow they deserved and enjoyed their time at Evergreen like they used to. Now we are transitioning into Spring and with that comes mud, rain for our May flowers and the black flies that we are endure. We still love Evergreen.

As you all know we have partnered with Lemonjuice Solutions and we are hoping to have positive results for Evergreen moving forward.

This will be a short newsletter just to inform our owners that we are holding an Annual Meeting on June 7th at 11:00. Once again, we are asking our owners to please attend. This is to support EVTOA but also to keep you informed and updated regarding the progress at the Inn. We are also having our annual Spring clean up and work weekend, the same time. We are shocked at the number of people who this year are volunteering to attend and help EVTOA. Thank you for showing interest in our Inn that we all love so much. Please call the Inn in one week and we can tell you what tools or jobs need to be done.

The Inn will supply some of the food but we are asking volunteers to bring some food and we will have a pot luck supper on Saturday night. You can come to the Inn on Friday and Saturday and Saturday night will be free for those who are attending. This is a great time to meet other owners and help with the spring clean up.

We have hired back Scott Henry who previously worked for us and we are thrilled he decided to join our team again. Scott has a lot of knowledge in maintenance and knows our old building well so he is a real asset.

Monica is still with us and Mackenzie is new and they work very well together and we are getting a lot accomplished in housekeeping and front desk during the slow time.

Attached to this letter is a Proxy. We really need our owners to send back the proxies for voting purposes. It is self-explanatory. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call the Inn.

The budget was approved by the Directors and will be presented at the Annual Meeting. We have completed some updates at the Inn and will discuss these at the annual meeting.

We hope to see you once again at the Annual Meeting and we hope this newsletter finds you in good health.

Evergreen Valley Update December 2024

We’re Embracing the Arrival of Winter at Evergreen Valley Inn!! Not sure embracing is the right word, but we will stick with that.

We can’t help but notice the signs of the seasons shifting. After all, Maine’s transition into winter is anything but subtle. Here at Evergreen Valley, that means roaring fires in our rustic Great Room, an unlimited supply of hot coffee in the lobby, and extra layers worn by guests and staff alike. While we’re on the topic of staying cozy, let’s give a warm welcome to some of our new hires! Mackenzie, Monica, and Tyler all started recently and are still in the process of training. We appreciate your patience as they settle into their new roles within the Evergreen family.

As the days get shorter, we are reminded of how short staffed we are. Please keep this in mind and have patience with us. We don’t have staff at the front desk in the evenings, but we have live-in caretakers available to help. They are doing a marvelous job and helping anyway they can.

Your team is also helping work and volunteering their time.  We are very lucky to have such a dedicated team.

This time of the year our guests and owners love sitting by the fire in the great room.  But many are outdoors enjoying the winter season.

-It’s our slow season, which makes it extra important for maintenance fees to be paid on time.

Please help us keep things running smoothly by staying up to date on your fees. The maintenance fees did increase this year due to wicked high CMP bills and TLC the company in Las Vegas is not taking inventory from us this year. Also, all our operating costs since covid have increased drastically.

-Exchanging gifts is fun. Exchanging with RCI is even better! If you choose not to come to Evergreen, you can visit somewhere new by checking out the RCI website or calling them directly. Please check out our new Website www.Evergreenvalleyinn.com all our new rates and details are on this site. Your 2025 and 2026 calendar are listed as well to help you plan your vacation.

Evergreen has experienced a set back this year due to large legal bills and having a squatter who caused Evergreen many issues. The good news is we finally got them evicted, the sad news are the bills they incurred.

We are experiencing very low owner number due to aging population and also since have not gotten back to normal after Covid. So, the team decided to bring in a marketing team to try and sell some of our dead inventory. We are hoping this will help generate more income and get Evergreen busy again.

We also have another company interested in assisting Evergreen with re-imagining the Inn. We are still negotiating with them and have no answers at this time. But will continue to work with them.

Good news Evergreen once again won the RCI Hospitality Award which is a real compliment to our staff and team on their efforts to keep Evergreen shining.

When you’re nestled in the idyllic White Mountains, it’s easy to find things to be thankful for. Here at Evergreen Valley, we’re not keeping that gratitude to ourselves. We’d like to thank our staff, owners, our guests, friends, and our local community for their unwavering support and patronage. If there was a table big enough for all of us to sit down together, we’d love to share a holiday meal with all of you, but for now, this will have to do!

I and my team would like to wish all our owners a Very Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday season and hope all of you have good health and lots of happiness in 2025.
